The Main Event is an Outside Catering company based in north Norfolk and run by Lynn and Nick Handley.
Nick and Lynn have extensive catering experience since buying their first business, the famous Lifeboat Inn on the Norfolk coast at Thornham in 1979. Over the years the pair successfully ran The Sculthorpe Mill, The Old Bank Bistro in Snettisham, The Anchor at Morston and The Queen's Head at Nassington.
Along the way they brought up 3 children, Ben, Kate and Sam, who inherited a passion for food and all work together in Ben and his wife's two businesses, The Duck Inn at Stanhoe (The Good Food Guide Restaurant of the Year 2017) and their new venture, The Hunworth Bell.
We specialise in Wedding Catering and focus on providing excellent, top quality service and customer satisfaction that will exceed even the highest expectations.
We will happily meet with you to discuss menus and tastings, whether for a small, intimate dinner party in your home or a rather more lavish Wedding Breakfast and create with you an itinerary to ensure that we can bring the event in on the timings that suit you. We would also be delighted to offer advice regarding the many florists, musicians and cake-makers we have worked with and feel happy to recommend.
